  Dear Parents/Carers

   

  Following on from recent Strike Action in January, the National Teachers Union (NEU) have opted to take strike action again on 15^th and 16^th March. The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government, and not because of any issues specific to our school.

   

  At the time of writing, East Brent CofE Academy will remain open on 15^th and 16th March 2023. We request that you send your child into school on this date as a normal school day. Should our ability to remain open change, we will update you promptly via our usual communication channel.

   

  Please note if you have a child (or children) in other schools within the Wessex Learning Trust, the individual school will communicate with you regarding their opening or closing status depending on staff availability.
