First School Festivals- A variety of seasonal sports festivals are run by our feeder middle school; Hugh Sexey's at Blackford, where children in Years 3 & 4 are invited to attend competitions like tag rugby, swimming gala, cricket, multi-skills etc. This is a great way for them to mix and meet children from the other First schools who they will be joining in Year 5 and also for them to get used to the surroundings of their future setting. Details are sent home to parents as and when they arise.
